Automated Journal
Bahasa IndonesiaFree MT5 Trading Journal, Fully Automated
Every trader knows they should keep a journal; almost every trader abandons it by week two. The KINETIC FAMILY journal removes the failure point entirely: link your MT5 account once with the read-only investor password, and every position — wins and losses alike — is recorded automatically with statistics, a daily P&L calendar, and evaluations you can actually read. No manual entry, no typos, no fee.
01 · Overview
Why a journal decides whether your account survives
For MT5 traders who want to stop judging themselves by mood. Without data, a review is a feeling; a journal turns it into facts you can test.
Without data, a trading review is just mood: you feel brilliant after a green week and cursed after a red one. A journal converts that into testable facts — which setups actually pay, which sessions quietly bleed you, and how deep your real drawdowns have been. Traders who cannot answer those questions tend to repeat the same mistake with a bigger lot size until the account forces the lesson.
The catch is that manual journals demand discipline at exactly the moment discipline is scarcest: mid-losing-streak. That is where spreadsheets go silent and the most important rows are never written. The only journal that survives a drawdown is one that writes itself.
The trader whose journal always dies by week two
Notebooks, spreadsheets and Notion pages all depend on manual discipline, and it disappears precisely during a losing streak — so the most valuable rows never get written. This journal does not wait for your willpower; it reads straight from the account.
The trader who wants real numbers, not remembered ones
Which setups actually pay, which sessions quietly bleed you, and how deep your worst drawdown really was. Every position is logged exactly as it happened, with no typos and no cherry-picking.
The trader who needs a clean report
An MT5-style performance summary that exports to PDF — useful as a personal archive, as weekly review material, or to show your record transparently.
02 · How it works
Three steps, then the journal runs itself
- Connect MT5 with the investor password. That is MetaTrader's read-only access mode: enough to read history and balance, structurally unable to place orders or move money. Setup takes minutes.
- History imports, then stays in sync. Around three months of past trades load on first connection; from then on, every new position flows into the journal automatically for as long as the account stays linked.
- The statistics compute themselves. You read results — from a quick dashboard summary to a deep report you can export as PDF.
03 · What it does
What is actually measured inside
Everything below is computed from raw MT5 data — no figure is retyped by a human, so no position goes missing just because its result was unflattering.
| Metric | Computed from | What it reveals about you |
|---|---|---|
| Win rate & profit factor | All closed positions | How often you are right, and how much it is worth when you are |
| Average win vs average loss | Per position | Your real live risk-reward, not the target you keep in your head |
| Maximum drawdown | Equity curve | The deepest capital decline you have genuinely carried |
| Average holding time | Per position | Holding losers longer than winners becomes visible here |
| Daily P&L calendar | Per day | Overtrading days and revenge trading after a loss |
| Equity curve | Cumulative | The consistency a final balance figure hides |
Honest core statistics
Win rate, profit factor, average win versus average loss (your real, live risk-reward), maximum drawdown and holding-time analytics — over a dozen evaluation widgets computed from raw MT5 data. Deposits and withdrawals are excluded from P&L, so your profit numbers are never flattered by top-ups.
Daily P&L calendar
Your results laid out day by day. Overtrading patterns, revenge-trading days and your genuinely good sessions become visible at a glance — patterns no single-number summary can show.
Equity curve and MT5-style reporting
The equity curve exposes consistency (or the lack of it) that a final balance hides. The stats tab mirrors the familiar MT5 report layout and exports to PDF.
AI Coach
An evaluation engine reads your journal statistics and summarizes what matters in plain language — for example, a habit of holding losers longer than winners. It is a mirror held up to your own data, not a trade-signal generator.
04 · Honest limits
What this journal deliberately will not do
The journal is a reading and counting tool. It does not send orders, it does not touch your money, and it never tells you what to buy or sell.
- It does not execute orders. The journal link uses the read-only investor password; execution features live in a separate module you enable yourself.
- It does not hold or manage funds. Your money stays in your broker account, entirely under your control.
- It never asks for your master password. Read-only access is enough for history and balance, so that is all we request.
- It does not issue signals or recommendations. Statistics explain what already happened; the next decision stays yours.
- It does not guarantee an outcome. A journal improves the quality of your review, not the behaviour of the market.
- It does not import unlimited history. The first pull covers roughly three months from the broker server; the rest accumulates while the account stays linked.
05 · Context
A journal that lives inside a full workflow
A journal is most useful when it closes a loop: practice, execute, measure, correct. At KINETIC FAMILY the same account gives you free XAUUSD backtesting and bar-replay practice to rehearse setups before risking money, a community to discuss what the numbers reveal, and the signal copier whose executions land in the same journal, measured by the same rules. Start free, and unlock the full Community tier through our broker-partner path whenever you are ready — tier details are on the pricing page.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the journal really free?
Yes. Creating a KINETIC FAMILY account is free, and the automated journal — statistics, equity curve, daily P&L calendar — works as soon as your MT5 account is linked. There is no trial that quietly turns into a subscription.
Is it safe to connect my MT5 account?
The journal connects with your MT5 investor password — MetaTrader's built-in read-only mode. It can read history and balance, but it cannot open orders, modify positions, or withdraw anything. We never ask for your master password for the journal, and your funds stay entirely at your broker.
Does my older trading history get imported?
On first connection the system pulls roughly the last three months of trade history from the broker server, then keeps syncing new trades automatically for as long as the account stays linked — so your verified record grows over time.
Which statistics are calculated automatically?
Win rate, profit factor, average win and average loss per position, maximum drawdown, average holding time, a daily P&L calendar, and a full equity curve. P&L is measured from trading results only — deposits and withdrawals are never counted as profit.
How is this different from journaling in a spreadsheet?
Spreadsheets depend on manual discipline, which is precisely what disappears during a losing streak — so the most valuable data never gets recorded. An automated journal logs every position exactly as it happened, straight from MT5, with no typos and no cherry-picking, then does the math for you.
Can I export a report?
Yes. The stats tab presents an MT5-style summary of your performance and can be exported as a PDF — useful as a personal archive or to show your results transparently.
